Battlbox

Any of you guys familiar with Battlbox (http://www.battlbox.com)? It's a monthly subscription to receive tactical and prepper gear. There are 4 tiers and the most expensive ($150 per month) includes a knife. Not sure if I could give this a whirl or not. I love gear, but ... Just thought I'd see what other good guns and gear guys thought. Thanks.

Never heard of it myself so can't say one way or the other.

Are subscribers like testers for stuff or you just pay that much every month and they send you cool stuff weather you need it or want it or not?

I would avoid it. They say not Knowing is part of the surprise. I would want to know exactly what I was going to get. They may be legit, but that first box could be really surprising.

I know nothing about this company, but I'm old enough to remember the book-of-the-month club, the Columbia Record club, etc. The problem was always getting them to stop when you wanted out. Caveat emptor.

I'm tempted to try this for a couple months just to see what gear and knives they send. I've recently rekindled my habit of knife overburdening so this may be a neat option to expand the collection and get some cool gear along the way. If I sign up I will post the contents of the box when it arrives.
