Realized. Yet hardly fair. No one paid for our birth control and we raised our family by working. That is the problem the bumper sticker points out. The government creates entitlement in this way, yet claims our SS benefits (which we have paid toward all of our working lives) are not an entitlement. Your SS benefits were a cleverly designed confiscation of earnings, essentially a tax. If the money they took was placed in an interest bearing account you'd never have had to worry about a comfortable retirement and you wouldn't be dependent on government for anything. Like everything government does that is contrary to the constitution, SS was a lie perpetrated to make you dependent and allow them more power and control over your life and earnings.Originally posted by garyb View Post
