Thanks for posting this information.
It seems quite encompassing and thorough.
My choice for carry ammo is the federal 124gr HST which seems to penetrate a bit too much in this particular test; but performed better in other published tests. I suppose that they all vary by a little bit in their repeat ability.

Thanks. I have Lucky Gunner on my favorites page, but missed these results. They have good info on their website. None of my short barrels are 100% with all H.P. ammo, so it is good to have alternatives to try, especially since it is expensive to try defensive ammo for function.

The 380 results confirmed my preference for Hornady CD. Wish unconventional new bullets which rely on rotation instead of expansion to enlarge the wound channel could have been included somehow.

My favorite carry loads?
HST 230 gr +P .45 ACP
HST 180 gr 40 S&W
HST 147 gr +P 9mm
