I remember hearing you can't run all ammo through the Kahrs with polygonal rifling but can't remember the details. Can someone fill me in on this? Defense as well as proper ammo for for the range?

The only suggested no no with polygonal barrels is LEAD. Many shoot lead and just shoot a few jacketed bullets afterwards or clean frequently and figure no issues. I read where it was a pressure issue more than a leading issue.
Any jacketed or plated bullet is fine in a polygonal barrel.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
Cue sound of Head slap.

For practice we shoot mild loads of RCBS 124 cn cast bullets over 4.0 grs. of 700x for over 10 yrs. out of a K9 and PM9 without any issues. I load the last round fired out of each mag as a jacketed oneOriginally posted by Bawanna View PostThe only suggested no no with polygonal barrels is LEAD.
