Here is my customized K9. It started out as a stainless gun and I had it melonited (since you cannot buy the blackened stainless here in CA). I swapped the magazine base plates for the flush metal ones from kahr. I prefer standard 3 dot sights so I put in a Novak 3 dot rear instead of the vertical bar sight Kahr uses. I polished the barrel and barrel hood, and polished the feed ramp. Installed a Steve Bedair stainless guide rod, 22lbs recoil spring and the 5lbs striker spring... And it shoots even better than it looks!

Looks good. Where on the Kahr website do you find the flush magazine base plates? The cheesy plastic base plates that came stock have to go.

I think you can swap the base with one from an MK9 for the K9 mag. Not 100% sure so maybe someone else can confirm or call to order. Here is the link to the MK9 base. http://www.kahr.com/Pistol-Parts/Kah...azine-Base.asp

From Kahrs page you click on products, then go to accessories, then magazines and that takes you here:

Nice, now I know which ones to order. Thanks for the link.

Is it safe to assume that the MK series base plates do not work?

I guess I didn't make myself clear. I have what you want, bases and locks and you have what I want. I'm looking to trade. I sent the link to show you how much each complete one is going to cost (17.60 ea. plus shipping)

Oh, I gotcha. I wasn't paying attention. What did you have in mind, a swap? I may be interested.

I was thinking of a straight across swap. However I thought I had 8 of these, remembered that I sold some. How many are you looking for?

I just need two for my standard mags. I do not think it will work on the extended mag.

PM sent. I have two new standard base plates. I just bought the gun a few weeks ago, brand new. One of the mags is even newer, I just got it from CTD. I also have an extended mag that came with the gun, which I do not like, I prefer the standard 7 rnd mags. I will trade you my base plates for yours, as well an extended mag for a standard mag if you are interested.
