used K9 for $379

I can get a used black K9 for $379 plus tax at the LGS. No box, 1 mag. Serial number dates it to around 1996 and I believe it has the flat sides to it. Looks to be in nice shape.

Anything to watch out for and should I wait for a newer one to come along? I would assume that vintage has the non-Elite trigger? How can I tell?

I already have a CW9 which I love, so I was looking for an all steel/alloy one to go along with it. Does Kahr make alloy frames or just steel & polymer?

I suspect that would be a carbon steel gun too. Can anyone confirm the dates on that.

Not necessarily a bad thing, a whole lot of guns are carbon steel.

I think bawanna could be right on the carbon steel thing. flat sides indicates carbon steel over stainless, not a bad thing but IMO more TLC required to keepit looking good. Price is right though.
