Question for the Kahr aficionados:
I've owned a Kahr PM9 for two years, and I love it.....so much so, in fact, that I bought a new Kahr K9 without ever having seen one except online (I was unable to find one in any of the my local gunstores). I picked up the new K9 today, and, overall, it's very nice. However, I noticed right off the bat that the trigger on the new K9 is rougher than my PM9, almost "gritty" in the way it feels. In contrast, the trigger on my PM9 is completely smooth without a single hangup or rough spot. Granted, I haven't disassembled or cleaned the new K9 yet (I'll do that tonight), but I'm wondering whether this is a normal condition for the trigger on a new K9, and whether it is likely to smooth out to the point that it will be comparable to the trigger on my PM9. Has anyone here purchased both a new PM9 and a new K9 and been able to compare the triggers?
As a point of clarification, the new K9 is not an NYPD model with the longer trigger pull (i.e., not a K9094C). It's just the standard K9094.
Thanks, in advance, for your time with this question.
Best,
Goffman
