I'm not sure it's worth the extra time to be honest, unless it's just a 'showcase' gun. I prefer to take it down a notch using a little gun oil and a gray scotch bright pad. This keeps it to a 'mirror' polish at first glance ... but looking closer it has a very very faint brush finish to it. This is SOOO easy to maintain and keep out surface scratches, this way.

Eventually I'll do that treatment to this one, also. It won't look any different in pictures.
