I have a T9 that has the U on it. It was produced on Nov 2011 so warranty is gone. I have put 450 flawless rounds through it since I received it in January. I got a good deal on mine and I am glad I did. It has been a great gun! I would have no worries at all about buying another 'U' gun.

would not bother me one bit, there is really nutting wrong witht hem in the reliability part, and why kahr deems them to b e U models is very hard to even seen..Just sayin. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Probably did it on purpose so someone wouldn't know it was refurbished and buy it. Then they tell him "oh it's a U. I'm sorry I don't trust anyone anymore. Hope you have the best of luck with it. CongratsComment
