My K40 new or old style?

Have a new to me K 40 sitting at my dealer waiting for me... anyway, the night sights are dim and need replacement. I see Kahr offers old and new style. I spokw w/ a Kahr rep and he guided me to this pic which I thought I should post for all.

I just checked. The cut off for the old style sights is 11/2004 build date. So check your serial number to order the correct sights. Or look for the dimple mark on the underside of the slide near the striker. No dimple means old style. See the arrow in your pic.

Gonna send just the slide back to Trijicon to get the sights "re-lamped"
