Just ordered a new Kahr K9 stainless w/night sights from Bud's gun shop... I own a couple M&P shield's, a 9mm & a .40s&w, a Kahr CW40 & a M&P .380 bodyguard. The K9 will be my first all-metal pistol that will probably see some carry duty. Lately my main carry has been my CW40. It is one of the smoothest shooting pistols and the DAO trigger makes me feel more relaxed when out & about in public... I think Kahr's make a fine CCW choice... Looking forward in recieving my K9, will post pics as soon as I get it...

Any good suggestions for IWB carry?
I guess to make it easy I already own 2 alien gear cloak tuck 2.0's & a new cloak tuck 3.0 and a couple spare shells laying around, I can easily get a shell from them for a kahr K9 but I'm open for other options including a IWB kydex such as the PJ holster...
Also, for you K9 owners, which is a good 9mm round that the K9 likes? For me I've been shooting a lot of Freedom munitions 124 gr. fmj's & winchester train & defend. My carry ammo has been a mixture of Hornady custom 147 XTP & winchesters train & defend JHP's.

For me, any leather dual snap IWB works well. It carries the weight very well. Mine is a Dean. I have a few IWB single clip holsters and an appendix carry but none of them are as comfortable.
My MK9 will shoot anything but is most accurate with 124 and 147gr. I've always used Golden Saber 124gr for carry. It's just my preference. There are many others.
My K40 will shoot anything and is one of the few guns I own that has never experienced any kind of failure (even shooter error). I did a silly test when I first got it and went 700 rounds without cleaning it. No issues whatsoever. I got bored and cleaned it.O|||||||O

Milt Sparks VersaMax II for 3" 1911s work very well for K9's. I use the same holster but for a 4" 1911 to carry my T9 IWB. The CW9 (same size as a K9) rides ok in it as well but I am ordering a 3" version for the K9 I am going to get. www.topgunsupply.com has them in stock in case you don't want to wait the 10-12 weeks when you order direct from Milt Sparks' site.“More evil gets done in the name of righteousness than any other way.” - Glen Cook

great gun, mine had an unusual problem though. I got it used, i think im the third owner. Either way it went back to kahr and and came back working fine through various loads including defense loads and shoots just so damn well, and more accurate than it should for how much i practice these days. I am an absolute fan of the trigger. Very consistent weight all the way through and is silky smooth
Lovely gun, the wood grips feel great and are worth looking into, plus they look damn fine.

My K9 Came in today and what a beauty! Took it home to field strip it & give it a good wiping down/lube before heading back to the range. I put 100 rounds of Freedom Munitions 124 gr FMJ's without a single hicup... Feed & functions perfectly & incredibly more accurate than I'd thought it'd be. It's going to take some time before this pistol loosen's up as it is incredibly tight! Locking the slide back, insert a loaded mag & then trying to thumb the slide release down to chamber a round took superhuman strength however after 50 rnds or so it did start to feel a bit easier... Like I said I put 100 rounds of FM FMJ's thru it and also 14 rounds of Hornady critical defense, 124 gr. & 147 gr. Those too feed perfectly & the accuracy of the pistol was spot on target... Now I know some of you guys are dying to get a look at my K9 however I was too excited to snap a pic of it. I did however snap a pic of my target. It was set at 5 yards... enjoy!
