Reliability of Winchester Ranger +P+

I think I am gradually switching over from long term use of HK P7's to K9's. (I have primarily shot and owned several of both over the years, but Kahrs are calling these days.)
My question is in regard to SD ammo. Winchester Ranger +P+, in 115 or 124, has been my usual carry, and I know is 100% in my P7's. I will do more function testing in my K9 before relying on it for carry, but -- for those of you who use it in K9 or T9 versions -- what is your performance experience been in regard to reliability?
If I had reliability issues, I would likely migrate back towards my P7's.

I've had 100% reliability with the 124 grain Ranger in my K9.

My former NYPD K9 has eaten every round I fed it with only one burp. That was a round of some Yugo 9mm FMJ that had miss fired first in a Glock 17, then a citadel 1911. It was just a commie dud...

During the great 9mm drought we would buy whatever we could find, made from wherever it came from. When anybody's round would fail to ignite in anyone else's gun, we fed it to the K9, just "to make the round safe for disposal" you understand. All but the one went BANG for me.

Those range trips gave me a ton of resect and confidence in my K9 when I carry it on the streets.

My K9 also loves the ranger 124grn. Zero issues, but right now I have the CD 124grn on board.

I've used the similar PDX-1 for several years without any problem at all. Nothing wrong with Ranger, good ammo, but the PDX bullet is bonded and the Ranger bullet isn't. Just a thought.

HK P7 and Kahr T9 are alike in many ways, size, weight, features, etc. Nice guns, without doubt. A K9, with a CT laser is a very compelling carry combination.

Kahr does not recommend the use of +P+ ammo in their firearms. +P ammo is approved for use in all of their guns.

Does anyone recommend +P+?
I was interested to see people's experience that were noncompliant and used +P+. Any issues with that experience?

We all know that use of +P and +P+ causes added wear and tear. The K9 as originally designed was rated for +P+ but it had a 24# recoil spring. If you plan on shooting a bunch of high pressure ammo, I suggest you upgrade the spring and change it often, say less than 1000 rounds or so.

I've put +P+ through my K9, but not my P7. The K9 handled it well with little perceived difference between the +P I usually use. One admission; I can't shoot the K9 as fast as the P7. Takes me longer to get back on target and the trigger is much different between the two pistol of course.

I use it only rarely in my P7. There has never felt like that much difference to me between standard 9mm (or my favorite Seller & Bellot), so have not felt unwise not practicing with the "real stuff." But at the same time, if I'm not plowing a couple hundred rounds through each K9, I wonder about feeling as comfortable as with the P7, which over thirty years has been pretty much 100%. Hence, your experience very much appreciated.

I'll reply to my own thread on Winchester +P+, because I just posted on another thread about 9mm BPLE. I has disappointing reliability (2 FTF in 100 rounds).
My P7 just gobbles everything...

My older PM9j ate everything I fed it, and I bought it used... so test it LOTS

The new one, that replaced it, (when it was stolen) has only a few boxes through it, no issues, except... the @#$@#$ front sight came loose and I had to refit it. Its all good now.
