Has been getting refreshed. Bought it a couple years ago. It was a police trade in. After putting a lot of rounds through it I decided to make it my carry gun. As with most police trade ins it was probably carried a lot and shot a little. Started by cleaning it up as it looked a little rough. Time and elbo grease took care of that. Changed all the springs,and added checkered Hogue wood grips and stainless hex head grip screws. Found new Meprolight old style night sights on Amazon for 80 bucks and put them on last week. Bought a couple of new mags and it's good to go.

Probably carried less than you think. The K9 was authorized as an off-duty carry, not as some suggest as a NYPD duty firearm....probably carried a lot and shot a little.
A little love always shows well on a nice firearm. Is it a stainless finish or black?Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all. -
I knew they weren't duty guns, but it looked like it was carried a lot. It had scratches and dings that I was able to clean up. The guy I bought it from had the receipt from the shop he bought it from which said it was a police trade in. Oh, and it's stainless.Comment

+1. I want to see the grips.The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
