Yah, ya gotta do the math....

I'll assume a sight radius of 5 inches, against a target distance of 18 feet (six yards).

Eighteen feet is 216 inches, against 5 inches sight radius, or about 43 to 1 ratio.

Lets say five inches off (4-6 inches) so 1/43rd of 5 inches is.... about .116 inches or someplace between 1/10th and 1/8th of an inch "off" positioning of the sights, or machining of the barrel and/or slide, or all of the above. Don't worry - there's nothing off by that amount in your pistol! Variability is much, much less than that, just to have it function. So, you're fine.

We might take a brass punch, and small hammer and "adjust" your trigger finger.... if need be. (owwww!!!!)

Just to wrap things up. After getting to know my K9 better, the sights are working good. It was all me as suspected. I didn't even have to take a brass punch to my trigger finger. haha. ... Actually, now I have two K9's ... how did that happen!

shooting low can also be improper site picture. Get at 5-7 yards and try to see what gives. Have a friend load your magazine with a few snap caps so u dont know if there are any in there or not. This will surely show any shooting ills you are having also. POre=-anticipation of the b ang thing will product lows every time. Your not really recognizig the anticipation thnbg as the bang thing happens at the same time your pulling downb on the gun so u don't kow. Mystery snap caps will show this.,

I am so glad kahr has steel triggers for I am so bad about this bad habit, I swear I would break a plastic trigger with my anticiation. iTS HARD AND A BAD HABIT to break. for me anyways. I do feel one can master or sorta master a bad habit if u do the same thing time in and tie out, u just adjust sites, site picture accordngly and your groups will tighten up alot, but again learn the right way, if u can.

I never make excuses form y shooting, I am indeed a piss poor shot, I know the proper things one should do but I just dont seem to do it right. Just sayin
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border
