What type of sights are on your S&W 39, I also have a S7W 39-2 that was my first 9mm. I purchase it new almost 30 years ago, still one of my favorites but I would love to upgrade the sights for these old eyes.Originally posted by Bawanna45cal View PostTony,

That 39 was a friends kids. They were the stock sights and as I recall I didn't like them much. I held my uncles just this last weekend also a 39-2 he thought he got around 40 years ago and it had dove tailed adjustable rear and a red front and they worked real well. I think they were factory also as the gun was absolutely mint, in the original box still wrapped in the factory paper. Couldn't talk him out of it. Gonna leave it for his son in law, not worthy in my opinion but he didn't ask me.Originally posted by Ol'coot View Post
