Just bought a new in box K9 & am trying to find mfg. date. Even though it is new I think it has some age to it. The serial # is BF45*** , can any one help ?

Well according to this list copied to us by Cappy, BF12XXX was 2009, that's the largest BF number on the list. Might be more info further down the line.

I contacted Kahr via email a few years ago with my ex NYPD K9's SN# asking about date of manufacture. In about a week I had the answer. Try them first for the correct answer.I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
"Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
"more stuff than you are"
