so when I clean my AR, i spray it down with a gun cleaner, then get a cup of HOT dish soap water, and a toothbrush, and wipe the ENTIRE THING, in and out. Then I use scolding HOT water, and rinse it off, so hot to the point that the water almost evaporates off the rifle immediately...... (and i use compressed air to blow out the crevises)

that being said, cant we clean these guns the same way? and any pistol for that matter? would save ME time at least, over wiping it meticulously down with little wipes.... just curious

absolutely. for me inmy PM9 and K9 and my G19 Ijustuse the high pressure non cholorinatedbrake spray cleaners. It will blow sh-t out of places u can't see nor even getto with a brush and it drys instantly,but your method IMO is excellent to.I justwipe my outter kahrs slide and grip with my silicone cloth. notrocket sciencetocleanagun and thekahr lube chart onthis forum is just excellent.

I've wondered the same thing. Is it harmful to just drop your Kahr in a bucket of hot soapy water for the initial cleaning? Just to get all the oil, grease, and crud out of all those small hard to clean spots. This cleaning would of course be followed by a good drying and lubing.
