  • New CM9 very clean from factory/ 1st update

Just got my new CM9 last night. (had to wait for NJ permits, long story). Racked it 500 times while watching TV. (annoying my wife). Today, after work, I took it apart for cleaning/lube. I was amazed at how clean it was! I still did follow Jocko's prep exactly, and racked it again another 500 times. Will try to shoot it this weekend between golf. (already committed). I'll give a range report then. Happy so far, and NOT expecting any problems.

I have a very good feeling about this!
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

Did you take the slide off and test the magazine follwer for hang up issue? I had the problem, Modified my follwer and the CM9 has been flawless ever since!

75 flawless rounds of Speer lawman FMJ. Cleaned and lubed again, no unreasonable wear. Recoil was easy and accuracy was outstanding for such a small pistol! Why didn't I do this years ago? !!!!!

                rubb is "greedy"!! Just sayin
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

2nd range report: Another 75 rounds of speer lawman. two slide lock back issues, in mid magazine. I believe it to be shooter related, as my left hand may have hit the slide stop. This happened early in todays shooting. (1st and 2nd mags. Then ran flawlessly for the next 65 rounds.

FWIW and about a year after your initial range run. I took my new CW9 to the range after blowing out the insides and lightly lubing the moving parts.

50 rounds of Federal American Eagle--no failures of any kind.
50 rounds of S&B--no failures no failures of any kind.
20 round of Win personal defense loads. No failures--large groups.
50 rounds of Chinese manufactured, white box 9MM FMJ. No failures.
10 rounds of some Winchester manufactured ammo labled "machine gun only" of unknown vintage but known to have hard primers. No failures.

Took it home, cleaned it, loaded it and put in a IWB leather holster and headed out.

It is a nice, flat, functional, carry piece.
