  • Customized slide stops?

I’m not a fan of the slide stop on my PM9 it has way too many pointy corners.

If I find another slide stop for a good deal I’m going to take the grinder and dremel too it.

I was wondering do any of you guys have photo’s of your own customized Kahr slide stops, so I have some ideas to go off of?

I don't find much fault in the stock piece. If it works I generally leave it alone.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

I took a buffing wheel to the slide-stop on my CW9. It took the sharp edges off and feels much better but you can't tell by looking at it that it's not stock--nothing fancy.

karh tech section and hit on jocko's custom PM9. I did that slide stop mod with a dremel, took maybe 10 minutes. Even shortened the end of the slide stop, looks like a trigger pin now. Still easy as hell to take the slide stop pin out..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

it truly is. If your a person who accidently hits the slide stop lever on a kahr, this mod will help alot. Cosmetically , to me it just looks so much sleeker and at the worst you can just ruin the slide lock lever and you just buy another one. Not sure how one can really ruin it other than not liking the looks of ones mod after he has done it. again once you take metal off, you can't put it back on, so modify slowly to get the results that you want

Same here, I used a Dremel to knock down the sharp edges and corners on my slide stop.

Well, after having a buddy unintentionally lock the slide back while shooting my CW45 this weekend, I decided to get a little more aggressive with the reduction (somewhat following Jocko's lead here ):

                    Compared to an unmodified stop:
