One question about your pistols, Gentlemen. Do you clean them after a certain number of rounds run through them, after each range visit, when you think needed or something else? Just wondering.

After each range visit, or monthly if I haven't been in a while for my EDC (CM9). My other weapons get cleaned after use or every other month or so.“I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for a few public officials.”

When ever I'm in the mood to do it. Not specifically after a range visit or anything, just when I get around to it. I do keep em oiled down so they don't rust.Tom

I run my Bore Snake (got it this past weekend) through after my last round at the range...Then I do a thorough cleaning later that evening...NRA Member.."Please support, if you don't already"

Always after the range trip, but four months is my time to inspect and oil.
The gun was stored clean. Remember with oil, more is very seldom better and you can Abso-fricking-loot-lly have too much.
My Kahrs are stainless and plastic, what's to rust?I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
"Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
"more stuff than you are"

After firing one round or 100, or about every other month.Attitude: it takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile...and 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

After ever range trip, which is every week or two. There is only one exception, my Sig 226, if I'm lucky enough to shoot 2 or 3 days in a row I won't clean it. I have always wondered how dirty that gun has to be before it will malfunction and I still haven't found out after 26 years.
