Magazine baseplate mod

I know not everyone will find this to their liking, but since it worked for me, I thought I would post my results. I have found the small lip on the fromt of the magazine baseplate on my CW9 is a little uncomfortable. As I received a spare magazine today, I decided to make them more comfortable. I took my dremel and removed the small lip and then used a 600 grit sandpaper to smooth the edges and surface. I replaced it back together and it feels so much better. There is now no longer a rim of plastic digging into my pinkie. Very simple and very comfy. If you don't like the lip like I did not, give this a try.

I ditched the "flush" plastic bases and got the metal base plates... then got the black base plate "kit" from Kahr. I had to add an O-ring to stop pinching with my P40 and before trying it on my P9.









I wanted the smallest profile for concealed carry.
