Can the trigger on a CM9 be removed without removing the side panel on the grip? I just put a new set of Talon grips on my CM9 then decided to have the slide Cerakoted...then decided to do the trigger too. I don't want to ruin the new Talon grips though.

Remove the trigger without removing side panel on CM series?

That Avatar is going to drive old Jocko wild with desire. The short answer is no, but you only need to remove the corner of the grip and then you should be able to get it to stick again using a hair dryer or heat gun.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

Removing the trigger and putting it back on isn't fun. Just sayin. Been there, done that. The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Some guys just have to learn the hard way. It's not that bad if you have less than ten thumbs.

Hmmmm, I think a silver trigger on an all black gun will look vey nice. The silver trigger will coordinate with the silver barrel.

love the avitar,. now my 21 cents on this. LEAVE THT FOKKER ALONE
. It is not an easy thing to do and ur doing a cosmetic thing, so WTF. Due the slide if need be but IMO leave that tyrigger area alone. Not to many on this fourm venture intothe triggger area, as basiclly there is nutting u can do in that area to enhance anything but u can certainly fokk thing sup. . My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

It's moot at this point.....I took the slide off the CM9 this morning, stripped it out and took it to get Cerakoted (along with the backplate and slide release lever).
The trigger is staying silver, it's not worth the aggravation of pulling it out, actually not worth the effort to put it back in.
If it ever bothers me that much I'll send it back to Kahr and have them install a PM9 trigger in it for me....or take a Sharpie marker and color it in."Among the many misdeeds of British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest." - Mohandas Gandhi, an Autobiography, page 446.
