Yes, a blue pill is a proof load, commonly used in rifle proof firing, required in so many jurisdictions that all rifles are proof fired. Most pistol barrels are also proof fired, either individually as barrels (from autoloaders, single shots) or as whole arms (revolvers). Proof loads, commonly called a blue pill due to the tin stain on the projectile, used to note them from normal ammunition, are cartridge loadings that are from about 10 percent to about 50 percent "over pressure" as compared to standard commerical (or military) ammunition. The actual pressure, measured in CUP or LUP, depends on the cartrdige and the arm for which it is intended, as well as preferences of the manufacturer. That is to say, certain manufactures might call for their chambers and barrels to withstand a certain pressure premiums, regardless of (lower) industry standards.Originally posted by muggsy View PostWhat all this talk about erratic erections. Have you guys ever heard of the little blue pill?
And thats what blue pill is.
Eratic erections are are held once every four year in the USA, and traditionally the American voting populace gets to choose one of several dicks to lead the Executive branch of government.

This may improve feeding sooner than just shooting it but i think thats about it. I did it to all my kahrs.Originally posted by palabman View PostThe machining marks were pretty visible on my breech face so I polished that a bit also. I don't know if that will let the case slide a little farther up to center the strike. I'll be going to the range here later in the week. I'll report back after. The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

It looks like I am on the right track - I had already biased the ejector nose some, like I would for a 1911. This helped a little but I decided to go ahead with more extractor tension - all I did was make a new rear extractor pin .050 longer to add more preload. I managed to run a mag through after dinner, the first four all landed 3-4 feet out at 4 oclock and the last was about two feet farther on a 5 oclock vector. I will update when I can get to the range and run a couple boxes.
