  • Making Fiber Optics Front Sights

I've written about purchasing my grand daughter a P9 with dull nite sights. And about her pestering me about giving her my f.o. sighted K9. But that wasn't gonna happen.
So I came up with another idea. Why not turn her dull front nite sight into a f.0. one.
Now I have to figure out what to do about turning some dead Novak nite sights into flat black ones

    Looks great!

Rear - nothing a drill, a piece of brass rod from a hobby shop, and a drop of black enamel mixed with epoxy won't take care of...

That turned out real nice. Granddaughter ought to be pleased with that.

In Memory of Paul "Dietrich" Stines.
Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
      Cue sound of Head slap.

They don't seem to gather as much light as a factory one. Because the blades are shorter making the pipes shorter. But I don't think she'll notice
