Probably, but a quick call to Kahr at 508-795-3919 should confirm it.

CM45 first. Then deal with them firebreathers.

Maybe a K45 first too. Priorities ya know?

                  Welcome to the forums

Kahr charges $40+cost of the sights+$25 return shipping/handling.

So, adding in $80 for night sights and about $5 (USPS) to ship the slide there will set you back about $150.

lets see, 150 bucks for new sights or 14 boxes of federal ammo FMJ from wally world. I think Ill just buy the ammo. Maybe Im just cheap but i shoot better if I just point and shoot instead of trying to aim.

Getting the oem bar/dot sights off the slide wasn't that hard. Allow some PB BLASTER to penetrate under the sights and careful taps with a brass punch removed them both.

Here's where it got tricky and I wasted my money. I installed the rear night sight with some effort. Lots of minute filing to get it to fit. That dovetail is so tight. More surface area for the punch, but I got it on.

The front sight, no such luck. I got it started on, then thought I was using gentle enough taps with the punch. WRONG! The front night sight snapped off about half way on. Brand new night sight ruined, so I sent the slide into KAHR. It was worth it.

Gunsmiths don't even want to touch a KAHR to install night sights. They've experienced the same irritation I did. I'd pay KAHR to have night sights installed.
                      Thanks for the input.
I was thinking about doing it myself, but on the second thought I will send my slide to Kahr when I am ready for night sights.

This is my first post here. I am debating about getting a PM9 or CM9 to replace an LCP that I didn't like.

Has anyone ever tried pushing sights with the Meprolight USIT? I have one but was considering just purchasing the gun with sights installed.

Also, is the CM9 front sight like a Glock front sight where it is just inserted and then a little screw is put in to hold it?

                        Thanks

TucsonMTB makes a good point about the price difference between a PM9 and PM9 with night sights being about the cost of what doing it yourself would be.

However, I don't believe that's an option with the CM9 as Kahr does not list any with a night sight option. So, you would be looking at another $40 on top of the cost of the sights and shipping ($25 return) to have the factory install them. The Meprolight USIT looks pretty heavy duty and should work fine for DIY. The rear sight can be difficult to remove, but the replacement can be fitted and should not require as much effort to install. Current replacement front sights (apart from the OEM plastic one) for the CM and CW series pistols are either staked on or held by a single screw.
