I called them up and asked if I could send in my 7 round magazine in exchange for a 6 round magazine (never cared for the 7 round magazine).

Guy said no problem, just send it in with a note and we'll get a 6 round magazine out to you.

Sent it off and in less than a week I had my 6 round magazine in the mailbox.

Pretty impressive!

IMO a very wise move.. One extra round means nadda, if u can't trust the magazine...

If Kahr is willing to exchange the 6 round mags for the 7 rounders so easily, has anyone tried asking for the 6 round instead of the 7 with the promo offer? I may give that a try - hope to be buying my CM9 soon!

No, they do replacements. Doesn't necessarily mean they will change their promotional item.

That's what I'm saying. They specifically listed the item numbers of the mags they are giving away.

If you buy your pistol within the promo period, then yes.
If you bought yours long long time ago, then the answer is "no"
