  • MK 9 price

Hello, this is my first post.

I am in the process of getting my first Kahr MK9, really can't wait. Want to make sure the price I am getting it for is in line. I am in NJ price: $749.

Look forward to posting future range report once my permit comes in and I can finally pick her up.
    Thank you,
    Marc

MSRP on a base MK9 is $855, so that doesn't look to bad.

Welcome to the board! That looks like a pretty good price.

I paid $789 for mine. A couple months later the same store had a mk40 for $755 which I also bought but this time I offered $735 which they sold it to me for. If I knew they would come down I probably could have gotten the mk9 cheaper. Live and learn.

I was very lucky. January of this year, I accidentally found a NIB MK40N [night sights] in a gun store in MA for $599 + $10 shipping. It was four years old, but still sealed in plastic and dripping Kahr oil. I wasn't in the market for a new pistol at the time, but I couldn't pass on the bargain. It even came with the Kahr foam box which is much nicer than the hard plastic ones.

They have a used MK9 at the store for $500. Dirty and no one knows the history. I was just not confident in buying. Save money now and a lot of headaches later.
            Thanks for the replies,

Here is one for about $650. After shipping and ffl you would still save at least 60 bucks. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/27405-55.html

I paid about $750 (out the door) for mine 3 years ago. Sounds about right.

and btw, they're worth every penny!

I bought mine used for $475 + I had to make the guy a holster! But like i said this was a used MK9.

My buddy was looking at one i though for $699 with night sites brand new on gunsamerica, obviously there would be transfer and shipping added, but might be better then paying tax.

Bought mine for $399, had lots of holster wear (blued slide) and had to be the filthiest gun I've ever seen. Cleaned it up, replaced all the springs and its like a new gun!

My MK40 Elite 03 with NS ran $820 NIB.

                        I've seen MK40 FS NIB for $650.

My MK9 - Elite 03 - NIB was $740 a year ago. The non-Elite version would have been less. Mine does not have night sights.

I just recently bought my first Kahr MK9 used for $350. It was part of a lot of guns brought in that someone no longer wanted, and is in great shape. An email to Kahr told me that it's 4 years old and hasn't had any issues sent back to them.

I'm still very happy about my steal!
