  • Thinkind about buying a used Kahr MK40

I found a used Kahr MK40 with night sights for $550. Can anyone tell me if this is a good price, and if this model is reliable as compared to a PM9?

nice gun, very hot round, It shold be a nice gun, but IMO a handful to.. Price sounds reasonable. a serial # would give u a good idea of wheni t was made to. Just remember, u have no warranty, if needed. Normally thouogh kahr will fix anything that you send to them but itmight cost u postae vboth ways, or at least one way. Would be nice if u could test shoot the gun..
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I bought a new MK40 a few months back. I have less than 500 rounds through it as of today. Wide variety of different ammo. Never failed once from the first shot out of the box.

I paid around $650 new. For $100 more than you are looking at I have the 5 year warranty. Seeing how good it works, I doubt I will need it but you never know.

This little gun jumps when you fire it but compared to magnum revolvers, it's rather mild. It's very accurate. I needed to loctite the grip screws since they loosen with firing.
