Ran 150 rounds thru the mk9 yesterday. It had been awhile. Almost forgot how great that pistol is...

Glad to hear you had a good time shooting yesterday. Congratulations. As you know from my range report yesterday on my Duo Tone, I totally agree. I was amazed at how much smoother an MK9 is compared to a CM9 ... and I really like my CM9.

P380, PM9, Mk9,Mk40 all perfect. Love the Kahrs but always hard to switch to the longer trigger pull from my other guns. Takes a couple of mags to get readjusted."Honey, can I buy another gun?" Why another gun? "I just found out that I am two guns short of never enough."

Mine shoots great with the 6 round magazines. I was getting about a 1% failure rate with the 7 round magazines though. The failures happened about 3-5 rounds into the magazine, usually on the 4th IIRC. I will have to grind the follower down so it doesn't get hung up on the magazine catch.

i've been lucky with magazines. Have three 7 rounders that all run fine. then again, my mk9 is 10 yrs old. well broken in. probably makes a difference. 2 of the mags are brand new so maybe that doesn't make any difference (?). either way - good luck.Originally posted by nimdabew View PostMine shoots great with the 6 round magazines. The original mags for my 15 y.o. MK9 have metal followers. I have never had any problems with them, unlike with the plastic follower mags for my PM9. The 6-shot newer mags are fine, but the 7-shot plastic follower mags still have an occasional nose-dive when used in either handgun.
