Differences between a K40 and a MK40 barrel?

Does anyone know if the K40 barrel will fit a MK40? I would love to suppress my MK40 and just thought that if the barrels were interchangeable it would make threading a piece of cake!
Also is there anything about the MK40 that I should be aware of before attempting something like this?

Not only are they different and won't fit ... they are COMPLETELY different. The K series is unique to itself in the way the slide stop goes through the frame and locks in place. All the other Kahrs are similar to each other .... but the K series is unique. Even if this was not the case, the barrel lug sizes would require alot of machining to make them work. Probably more time and money than having a suppressor added the long way (a process for which I am not familiar).
