The MK9 and PM9 have a similar trigger. Once broken in the MK9 really shines. The PM9 is a fine pistol, but the MK9 is a real stand out.

I have a K9, MK9 and CM9 and have shot a PM9 more than a few times. The all steel Kahr pistols are true gems.

My MK9 is on my hip now and is with me anywhere that it is legal in Texas.

It is very accurate and reliable.

One of the advantages of the MK over the PM that is attractive to me is the availability of CT laser grips for the MK vs. underbarrell laser on the PM. I put lasers on all my carry guns and the addition of a laser on the PM makes it difficult (if not imposssible) to find a holster to fit. The laser grip on the MK gives you numerous options for holstering. Shooters who can focus on the gunsights may not think it important, but a laser is a necessity for my tired old eyes.

I personally think the HK P2000sk is the perfect carry gun but carry a Kahr K40 because of the laser grip and holster availability which I cannot get on the HK.

Of the two, I would take an MK9 over a PM9 any day ... unless you plan on pocket carrying a lot.

The MK9 with wood grips is much wider...it feels beefier. It'll certainly bounce around as you move if you put it in your pocket. I didn't notice too much difference in recoil between the two.

So is the MK the "Metal" Version rather than the CM/PM? Polymer Frame? Nothing lighter. Need the size I gave up with my CM might just go back but ~ I wanted to investigate...

You can also email the photo directly from your phone to PhotoBucket. That's how I do it. Easy peasy!

I had both. Sold the PM9. The MK is more pleasant to shoot. Mine has the wood grips and night sights. It carries very well in my Remora holster...
