  • Just love my Kahr MK9

I have had my Kahr MK9 for a short time now but it has become my primary carry gun in a very short time.
It is just so easy to carry and shoot.
I have only put about 250 rounds through it but I do trust my life to it.
I am as happy as it gets to have a reliable carry gun that is easy to carry 24/7

One of my favorites too. It works fine as a pocket carry gun for me.

I wonder how many they could sell if they were still being marketed a bit more actively.

What is the difference between the MK9 and the MK9 Elite?

        Elite 2003
The polished stainless steel finish and laser etching on the frame are available on all Kahr Elite 2003 pistols - the K9, MK9, K40 and the MK40. The lustrous finish complements our innovative designs and solid construction. The magazine well is beveled for easier magazine reloading. The feed ramp on the barrel is polished to a high luster to insure reliable feeding with all types of ammo. Laser engraving on the frame provides the finishing touch to the polished stainless steel - for an appearance as impressive as its capabilities.

        Everything else is the same.

I firmly believe EVERY kahr barrel gets the same ramp polishing...
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Probably true. I just copied the info from the Kahr Web site.

I feel the same way about my MK40 - it's near the top of my favorites. It's very accurate for such a small pistol [smaller than my PM9], but too heavy for my pocket. Is it too soon to post another rant for an MK 45?

The ramp on my CW40 is so shiny I can probably use it as a mirror while shaving...

I would bet the kahr barrels are finished by a person whose job is to polish all barrel. He at theat time has no clue where that barrels is gonna on what model fun. Just my 21 cents on this.

All the ramps on my kahr pistols are polished like mirrors. My CM9, CW40 & K9 all have been flawless since day one...The CW40 has over 1200 rounds & I even use it on occasion for IDPA... Still going strong!

I agree. It is a superior pistol.
