First range day with my new MK9. I like my Glock 43, but I'm in love with my MK9!

IMO, the MK9 is the epitome of "Kahrness". It ran silky smooth, and perfectly. Absolutely no issues "slingshotting" first rounds, even riding the slide shut.

The target picture was the 1st mag at 10 yards. The rest of the box of 50 FMJ, and 2 mags of 147gr HST's were all in the bullseye.

Love the look of the wood grips. I had a chance to purchase a G43 at blue label pricing; but, I passed. If I want to carrry a single stack 9mm, I will carry my MK9, K9, or P9 Covert. With that said, my EDC is a G26.

Yes it is. It's the 5JR-EXP from Kahr's website. Very stiff leather - feels very similar to kydex in fit to the gun. It clicks in when holstered, with an easily audible click.

It's pretty, but I see a High Noon Slide Guard in my future. You could beat those High Noon holsters with a shovel, and it wouldn't phase it. Probably break the shovel....
