should I trade my g19 for a p380 in black?

someone locally want's to trade their new p380 in black diamond,with 100 rounds thru it, for my g19,wanted a pm9,,but this gun is nice,,he has had no problems,,so he says..bought for his wife and she can't pull the slide back..I already have 2 other glocks,,but i shoot the kahr's better..no brainer right???

I like my P380. It took 3 trips back and a new frame to get it to run right. I now have 250 straight rounds without any problems at all. I carry it in my front right pocket and almost forget I have it. I have never pocket carried a PM9 so I can't compare.

just talked to the guy,,he said he did have a few fte's,,I know it's hit or miss..don't shoot the g19 much anyway..hopefully I get it.

If you need pocket concealment the P380 is better - I like god dots or cor-bon 90's. The 380 will not "eat anything" like a Glock, but is reliable with the "good stuff". For practice I like UMC FMJ or Federal Red Box FMJ. S&B works okay too. Fiocchi is so-so and my gun hates WWB - Go figure? I have over 1800 rounds through one of my P380's and about 800 through the other. One took a Loooon time to work right - the other not so bad.

Those fte's might very well disappear with another 100 rounds of ball ammo through the gun. Finish the 200 round break-in and then shoot it with a SD ammo of your choice.

Food for thought though, my PM9 has replaced 80% or better of my .380 pocket carry and some of my Glock 26 AIWB carry. I know that a .380 can save the day in a SD situation but a 9mm should do even better - given the same shot placement.

that's why I carry a cm9 now ,,like the p380 cause it's even smaller,,the g19 is my son's and he want's my cm9.

I sur ein hell would want to shoot 50 orunds of 380 ou tof thgat kahr before evfen giving it a thought of trading. 50 poerfect rounds then it is worth considering. I personally think u outta hold out and trade for a cm9 or pm9 like u mentioned. firepower i the 9 over the 380 is apples and oraanges. the cm9 and pm9 are far more proven for reliability than the P380 is, that is for sure.

i know your not talking about a gen 4. You can't compare. I dont want to sound like a snob but wait, safe up some more money and have both.

already have a g23 with lone wolf 9mm barrell,,carry the g23 all the time,,also carry a cm9 all the time,,i like the kahr triggers for edc alot more,,
