Awful range report

Bought my CW45 on Thursday morning and prepped it that night. I racked the slide over 500 times, cleaned and lubed it exactly how the sticky instructs. Took it to the range this afternoon and ran a 50rd box of Remington 230gr FMJ thru it with terrible results. After the first twenty rounds the slide stop lever kept walking out of the frame, which caused the CW45 to jam every 2 to 3 rounds. I'll contact Kahr first thing Monday morning and hopefully we can get this problem solved, because I really like my CW45. I don't think it is worthy of a photograph at this moment but I'll post one just for thread sake.

Slide stop walks out because the retention spring is is not doing its job. Either is loose or installed incorrectly. Takes a torx bit to tighten. There is a thread or 2 here about the solution. Easy fix. Save yourself the money and aggravation and do it yourself.

Why don't you remove the stop and take a pic like this so we can see it.

The enclosed part of the spring sits in a groove in the stop and retains it. The bare end holds the stop down keeping it disengaged until the mag follower pushes it up.
