I really liked my early "RA" P380 but could never get it to be reliable. Thinking about trying again. I have read about frame flex and a myriad of other problems with the early guns. I think the latest guns are "RC" numbered. Do we have enough information to determine if the new guns are as reliable as Kahr's other pistol models?

they are certainly better than some of the earlier models. Mine is RA 1X5 been back once, so far is reliable but not enought proof rounds to make me a believer yet. if u having issues I think u should contat kahr and ask them to pick up thegun, give them ur serial umber also, that could be a key to getting it back to them to. Not all the RA guns gave issues that was frame related... My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Hi Jocko: I sold my P380 after 1400 rounds and two trips back to Kahr. I'm considering another one but want to do some research before I leap. I love my PM9 but the smaller P380 is easier to pocket. Of course it's a moot point if the thing doesn't work.

Wow, Jeff! You are the first person I have seen in I don't know how long who calls it correctly a moot point, and not a mute point!Originally posted by Jeff00042 View PostHi Jocko: I sold my P380 after 1400 rounds and two trips back to Kahr.
