New CW9 Range Report

Well I must have followed the forums Prep Instructions very well because my new CW9 performed nearly perfectly this morning. I put 100 rounds of my reloads using the provided 7 round magazine and an optional 8 round magazine through it. Not one FTF or FTE. The only slight hiccup was one failure to lock back the slide on the second magazine. All the casing were thrown 4 to 7 feet to the right and slightly forward. The accuracy (standing one handed) improved considerably during the session. I attribute that to me getting use to the trigger.

I am glad that I made the decision to get the CW9 and would encourage anyone on the fence to get one. You won't be sorry. Now I just have to wait for my HighNoon Hidden Ally to get here.

Good to read that your CW9 worked as it is supposed to! Mine has had only about 100 rounds of commercial ammo through it the rest have been my reloads. No problems in digesting anything so far.

My only failure was the lockback as well. 200 rnds first day, awesome.

Congrats. I only got 80 something rounds through my new one before running out of ammo. I had searched a local gun shop and Wally world before leaving town for the range. Ugh, I'm so anxious now. LOL. Want to finish break-in.
