    Hello everyone!
I plan to carry this little beauty with me once I receive my CHL. Work is busy so I don't get to take the class until May. My dad is taking the class in April and he bought his CW9 before I did. I have large hands and was looking at more of a full sized pistol. An employee at the local gun shop gave me some good advice on the CW9. He told me once you start wearing the CW you'll never know it's there because it's so light. Just like a wristwatch you become accustomed to wearing it. Second he said a mechanic doesn't pull out a special tool for the job and say, "this doesn't fit my hand perfectly" and grap another tool. No, he adapts to the tool. I was afraid this gun would be too small for me, but its not!
I've put 100 rounds through it so far without a hitch. As long as you don't count the misplacement of my left thumb which allowed the slide to bite me.
I am very impressed with this gun so far and look forward to going through many more boxes of ammo. It also amazes me how much it has loosened up since I first took it out of the box.

I just got my CW9 last Tuesday as well. I ran out of ammo at 91 rounds but it was all perfect. So much fun I was surprised. Like you I thought it would be at least a little bit uncomfortable. Nope. I kept loading and loading till I was out.

Definately looking forward to my next outing on Friday. Welcome and congrats.

Welcome Yingy! Glad you like your new CW and what the gun shop employee is absolutely correct. Wear it always and it becomes part of you and you won't notice it being there. Just don't do like I did and take it into restricted buildings forgetting it's there. I just hope I remember should the time come when I need it.

Have you noticed any of the grip issues?

I just got mine today too, and put about 175 round down range. I had 2-3 jams with the first 2-3 clips then smooth sailing.

I'd give it a 10 if it wasn't for the grip... Still need to solve that

Welcome, all. I put a Qwik-Grip on my CM9. Gives it a real positive and comfortable grip while adding only a little to the bulk. For those who want more bulk, the Hogue Handall Jr will do the trick. For very minimum thickness, a piece of bicycle inner tube works. I also tried a couple of carefully trimmed and positioned strips of hockey tape to cover the cheese graters on the front and back of the grip. It is cloth tape that matches the color of the frame and looks like it belongs there. I may still get some rubber appliques such as the Talon or Traction for the sides of the grip.
          Very interesting...

What issues? Have not heard of any. But I like my CW9 as it is stock. Nothing added to it. My prefrence anyway.

We're gonna have to make you the picture king for Kahrtalk. I guess Barth can be your VP as he's pretty good too.

Just no more of that hairy dude though PLEASE!!!
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

So funny I had to bring it up again in a quote! Gaad! What is that? A troll? Sasquatch? A missing link? A cross between a gorilla and a man?
