  • New Guy with my Kahr CW40

Just picked up a "used" Kahr CW40....never fired...still had all the factory grease and tags on it. Picked it up for $365 including 20 rds of Magtech JHP, 50 rds of Remington JHP, 20 rds of Hornady Crtical Defense, extra mag, and a new Galco IWB holser. Great deal I think...

My background is Glocks (Glock 19, 23, and 30) and 1911's (RIA). Very excited about this pistol and am looking forward to the break in. Seems to be the perfect size for CC and how it transitions to my EDC.

Any tips, trick, hints for a new Kahr owner? Thanks for any and all support and advice!

. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

Thanks jocko....I do have one question....I use Slide Glide on my Glocks and my 1911. Also used it on my Sig too...

I am hoping this is not too heavy...other wise I can just go back to Remoil...any input?

Welcome to the forum and congrtas on your choice. I have been using Break Free for several decades now and havent had a problem. I use it on every thing from 500 Linebaughs to 22's, others will swear by another brand that has served them well. Over lubrication is not needed on Kahrs.

I would say use what suits you and enjoy it.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
