ok cool thanks i order it and cant wait till it gets here. I have shot 600 rd 115 fmj out of it with the 3.5 inch barrel. I will post how different it feels after 600 rds with the ported barrel. Getting trigger job soon!! thanks again

        Getting trigger job soon!!
Why?? That is the beauty of Kahr pistols: they come from the factory with a built in trigger job! Get the 5 lb striker spring from Wolff's and put rounds through it. It cannot be made any smoother, nor any shorter, nor any lighter without getting weak primer strikes.
        Very interesting...

i talked to the people at kahr today and they did state that the new 4" ported barrel for the cw9 and the p9 does have polygonal rifling!!!!! So if you have a cw9 like me i believe it is going to be a great upgrade.

ok i got the new barrel in yesterday. It is match grade polygonal rifling and it does improve accuracy. The muzzle flip and flash were both reduced. suprisingly!!! the improved accuracy was the most noticable trait from the 4 inch ported barrel. After 500 rds of 115gr fmj I did not have any malfuctions, so it fit my cw9 very well. I am satisfied with buying the cw9 than upgrading to the new barrel instead of just buying a p9. I give it a 9.9 out of 10 because i have sore thumbs after loading the magazines so many times. lol!!!

screw the trigger job a waste of money. buy the 5# striker and you havethe cheapest trigger job money can buy. Just sayin
. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

good info on the ported polygonal rifled b arrels. I always thought they were just standard rifled barrels... Just sayin

You do know that you aren't supposed to shoot cast lead bullets out of a poly barrel. That's the only draw back.
