Will Kahr P40 take PM40 mags?

Will the kahr P 40 take PM40 magazines (extended mags and/or standard mags)?

Are they the same mags just longer for P40?

I m getting a pretty solid deal on a p40 but I was more interested in PM40... I dont mind the slightly longer barrel BUT... I m not fond of the longer handle/grip.. If I were to work on it to shorten the handle/grip to be the size to accept PM40 mags will it work?

or am I way off?

PM mags will not fit a P or T.

P mags will fit a PM. P mags will not fit a T.

T mags will fit any size Kahr.

You can take the metal bases off the 6-round PM9 or 5-round PM40 mag and put them on a 6-round .40 mag and use that for CCW. I also added a 3/32" thick O-ring with 3/4" diameter to stop PINCHING! I use the 7-round extended-grip mags for reload carry and at the range.
