if u feel u need +P+, then I would go to the 40 cal. I am sure you can get away with shooting +P+ out of your kahr. Kahr says NO, so I would follow that statement. +P+ is way over rated in the first place. U don't see much +P+ offered either, as most gun companies don't recommend the ammo. Most allof your good defense rounds are in the +P range, which is plenty hot in a 9mm... My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border
