  • CW9 for a LC9 trade

Now a guy local to me wants to trade his nearly new CW9 with 3 mags for my LC9 w/Lasermax and Theis holster and 2 mags.

We are trying to arrange a shoot-off .

He doesn't like the CW which he got a week or so ago and I don't care much for the LC9 and setup, which I traded my LCP for 2 weeks ago

I would trade, I like Ruger but I think the trigger is horrific on the LC line. Also the Kahr is 10X better looking if that matters. I'm not a fan of hammer fired pistols other than 1911 or revolvers.
Also you won't be losing any money in the deal.

I know it's a wash money wise (maybe a slight edge your way) but different strokes for different folks. I don't like the LC9 trigger but I know others that do and a few that carry an LC9 every day even though they can afford "better".
I do love the Kahr trigger and the sights on all my Kahrs are as good/lots better than other choices in their class.
Try the CW9, I'll bet you like it.
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
        "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
        "more stuff than you are"
        God Bless our Troups!

Bucket's Back with a CW9, he let me keep the holster and I sold him another mag for $20, plus 30/30 dies and bullets for $40

The only Rugers left at my house are the 10/22 and SR-22PB

I won't get to shoot it right away like usual.

Mom has a coupon for a free ladies top at the Christian Re-Sale shop that she wants to use. Sort of a Christmas present a bit late.

About 4PM I can fit it in.

I see the manual is still in the plastic, meaning the two previous owners didn't read it. I'll treat it as a new gun in prepping it.

Thinking you both will be about in the same boat after the trade.

Check out the Gallaway Precision trigger for the LC9. It's really sweet! I wish my Kahr felt like that.

23 for 23 on mixed O.A.L. gun show reloads, it shoots to Point of Aim with good grouping. With the Ruger I was lucky to hit the target holder without the laser that I hated.

The Galloway stuff is nice, but I don't alter the trigger on a Self Defense Carry Gun.
