i shot the cm9 this weekend and it is a great shooting subcompact but with my larger hands would like to buy cw9. there in lies the problem, all i can find is the cw40. everybody says the 40 is snappy, how much harder in a little bit bigger pistol would it compare to cm9. i only shot 10 rounds and a couple of times my pinky got pinched, i know i need to find a grip that works but would rather just step up to cw, also can't find a cm9. every gun shop is just about bare on subs and compact pistols. if i wait, who knows when they will get one, plus the price gouging going on. so do i need to get cw40 over cw9 and not look back?

Bud's has the cw9 in stock, if you can't find one locally.

Keep in mind.... the recoil tests are GREAT... very informational, but...
The tests can really reflect how the recoil feels in one's hand, its "snappiness" is something that can only be approximated in the slow motion.
Best to try before your buy if there are questions. Better yet - stick with the 9mm

Some people are recoil sensitive and some not so much. The only way for you to determine what's right for you is to test fire the guns yourself. Many ranges have demo guns that you can rent. Sin in haste. Repent at your leisure.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

a local store has the cw40 out the door with tax, background check for $415. seems like a good deal, Buds buy it now cash price is $389, then transfer and bc to be determined. i haver never bought a pistol on line, don't know credit card price. a couple of other gunshops have the cw40 for just the gun at $387 and $409. i watched the video on you tube also.the gunshops around here in Tn are going up on prices everyday because of the demand. looked on gunbroker and most ccw are going for more than suggested retail for buy it now.

Those larger hands should handle the recoil of a .40. My wife is a peanut and shoots a .40 without any trouble.Originally posted by white08gt View Post~ but with my larger hands ~NRA Life Member

. My PM9 has over 34,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border
