I've had some mangled cases too. I started a thread in the reloading section on this subject after finding two reloaded cases that were damaged. In that thread I have a photo of a factory TulAmmo BrassMax case that was also damaged in the same way. The answer from the more experienced forum members was that my reloads were a little weak.

Edit to add the link to the thread in Reloading: http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=22790

Back to the OP, I have used Blazer Brass in .380, not .45ACP, and I thought the power level was slightly less than the other .380 ammo I've used (PPU and TulAmmo BrassMax) in the same gun. This is based on felt recoil, not chronographed velocities. If the Blazer Brass .45ACP is lower velocity than other factory ammo, then perhaps you are having the same issue with low power loads eating the brass.

I have used Blazer, WWB, never Tula, in all different calibers, and found that they are all weaker loads than say, Fiocchi, Federal, etc.
