OK--ran another 100 rounds thru the pistol (total 250). the Act mags fed perfectly, but of the two, one would not lock the slide back on empty. (The other does). Is this a matter of bending the part of the follower that engages the slide stop up a bit, or is there some other fix? Also, on the last round, occasionally the shell does not fully eject. Drop the mag, open the slide a bit and it falls out thru the mag well. I have not done any mods to the mags at all.

My mags got here Saturday. I hope to try them out this coming week. They look like they won't need to be trimmed, they fit good and locked open like they should.Jerry

Wow this forum is like your bloodstream hahaha
Talk about live ....
Anyways...
I bought every mag I was curious about and tried them all putting over 350rds nonstop thru them and was well on my way...when the ultimate oops happened...
The rangemaster had just given the ok to clear and move weapons off the firing line...and I was done for the day..when I picked up my new CW45 and
"SWUNG" it around but not holding on tight enough obviously...flew outta my hand and landed on the back left corner of the slide...damaged the slide
so bad...slide was locked back 1/8" and could not rack or even get gun apart.
Pictures of damage at this url:

Oh and don't comment on my dirty gun...just sent 350+ rds and gun could not be broken down to clean .. kinda like getting in a car accident with dirty socks on....
Wow this gun just came back from smiths at Kahr that week and back again
for full replacement of top and to ad insult to injury...had to pay full for it cause pilot error not warranty work. Guess some folks only learn to duck by banging their head over and over....LOL
Gun should be back this week and I'm going up to Factory anyways...
Will post some behind the scenes pictures if they will let me take them....
Daughter graduating and is 20 minutes away from Kahr....(rubbing hands together...oh boy oh boy)...Be back and at firing range again to try out 6rd ACT-MAGS from Gregcote.LLC and see if they will function as smoothly and lock back on empty. You guys keep the fires burning till I get back from Framingham, MA

I took the three Act mags out and all functioned and locked open as they should. I did nothing but load and shoot them, no rubbing.Jerry

Has anyone tried a Mag Pack magazine in the CW45?
This one caught my attention because the follower looked closer to the modded follower, it has a Wolff spring, and that ball made me curious so I will give it a try.
The magazine measures 4 1/8" from the top of the feed lips to the base, measured on the rear of the mag. What does the Kahr magazine measure from the feed lips to the top of the base pad?
These magazines are designed to feed practically all .45 ACP CARTRIDGES, with hollow point wadcutter or other special bullet shapes. Laser welded base plate. The carbon steel magazines are very strong, recommended for competition use.
For the best release of the cartridge, the magazine lips are highly detailed with a DIMPLE for easy insertion past the magazine catch.
The FOLLOWER is dished out to help rigidly position the round until it leaves the magazine. It has a raised portion with a steel ball to prevent wear, which locks with the extract or groove of the first cartridge to be loaded and holds it properly until the slide strips it.
The SPRING is manufactured by WC WOLFF CO. to resist fatigue even if the magazine is stored fully loaded for long periods of time.

let us know how it works out.The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I used a Chip McCormick Match Grade mag with a little dremel work on either side just forward of the lips and the notch also. Just take a little off and try it frequently until it locks and the slide works correctly. Have run some rounds through it with 0 FTE and 0 FTF but it doesn't lock the slide back after last round being the only drawback. Still using original spring and follower though...not sure if changing that will change the lock back issue.

Super....I am going to try and head up to range and fire my CW45 just got back from Kahr and put a Houge Handall Jr on it tonight .... wow how wonderful....like night and day difference...no more blisters from that checkering...fit perfectly....I bought two and only opened one, I tried it on my kel-tec p11 first.....not good...made it too fat in the grip...but the CW45 was so thin to begin with...it turned it into a custom fit for me...

CW 45 I love this gun
Just stopped in at the local indoor range Saturday, took my CW45, my Kel-Tec P11, and rented a Glock (cause I've never fired one). Glock spooked me with no safety like my other two pistols but only about an 1/8th inch trigger pull then bang....The Kel-Tec P11 and the CW45 shot every bit as accurate as the Glock. At 20 Ft there was almost no red left in the bullseye.
I took that CW45 and walked it right thru every number on that target at will.
So my CW45 is up to 400 rounds..and counting
I have 500 rounds for next range trip....all good stuff commercial 230 gr
I am shouting to the roof tops that everyone should at least try a houge handall jr on their Kahr's....wow so nice...and what a cheap mod. $8.00
The emery cloth to smooth off the checkering cost more than that....hahaha
I got so caught up at how accurate the CW45 was firing that I forgot to try my 7rd mag springs and followers in the 6rd flush mag like someone here asked me to do...next time hopefully
