  • IWB Holster CW9

I currently use a CB for my IWB carry needs for a CW9 but at times I'd like a faster and easier holster to just throw on (in) when the need arises.

Any recommendations on a single clip IWB holster with adjustable cant and opening retention? All leather or leather/kydex hybrids are fine. And, as always, the most bang I can get for my buck the better!

    TIA.

Sorry...can't help you out there. I use the Remora for IWB. Most bang for the buck I've found. If you have never looked at them, give them a peek. Inexpensive, lifetime warranty, comfortable, no clips to mess with and work great. They do the job wonderfully without all the leather, kydex, clips, expense, etc..., not that there is anything wrong with all that stuff. Remora would work just as great for the CW9 as it does for the PM40.

You could look at several full kydex "taco" type like the PJ or similar with an over the belt connection. Being all kydex they are very quick to draw from and easy to re-holster.

For me I have found with that single connection it can move around a bit so I tend to adjust it several times a day. The dual connection like with the CB style is more stable for all day wear and is hard to beat for making it stay where you put it.

Depending on your carry style, the remora or sticky holsters might be a good choice for a quick stow and go type holster. Endless adjustments available and for me when I use them, they have stayed where I put them. I use the sticky brand which has no mouth reinforcement, but it is not hard to reinsert it in to the holster and slip the holster back in to your waistband where you want it.

Have you considered a Soft Tuck? I have one for my LCP. I like it.

I second the Remora. Most comfortable holster around.
