  • CW380 Front Night Sight

I know the CW380 just recently hit the shelves but I was wondering if we can expect a front night sight for it anytime soon?

    Thanks for any insight.

More than likely not anytime soon. I haven't seen anything on their site and I am not aware of anyone making one for them now. Kahr sends trijicion their sights to have the tritium installed so it's all on kahr!
Focus on your front sight..... The rest should be blurry!

The full set says that it excludes the .380, but there's no mention of exclusions for the "front only" sight. And for $30, might be worth a shot.

I contacted Kahr and they said that sight will not fit. Below is the response.

We do not offer night sights for the CW380 at this time but they are in the works.

Any updates on availability of front night sights for the CW380? I didn't see anything on the website.

Good question. Kahr lists a Trijicon night sight set for the CW380 on their websight. It was listed as "in stock" when I checked a few weeks back, but when I checked again the next morning as I was preparing to order it, it was listed as out of stock.

I figured I'd give them a call to see what was going on. The nice girl that answered kept me on the line (cordless phone) as she walked out to the warehouse to check on their stock. She found the parts bin, and said they had lots of them. I thanked her and told her I'd place an order online - which I immediately did. Everything looked fine, but the next day, I got a notification from Kahr that the nightsights for the CW380 were out of stock. I called Kahr again, and spoke to a different girl. She walked out to the warehouse, found the bin, and said it was empty. She said that the expected date for the sights to be back in stock was August 25th. WTF?

Patiently waiting, but I sure as heck ain't holding my breath. Hedging my bets, I ordered an MK9 with night sights - good excuse to buy another gun, no?

My new MK9 should be here by the end of the week, and I already have FOUR new holsters for it, a spare mag, stainless guide rod, and wood grips here already.

I spit in the face of adversity.

I'm ordering the CW380 Trijicon front sight today. Maybe I'll get lucky too as I'd like an MK variant. To increase my odds I'm ordering a CT380 rear sight to replace the CW380's stock low profile rear sight. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I bought the night sight set for my CW380 in Aug 16 and got it within a few days. Front sight screws on, I had a gunsmith push the new back sight in. The cost with installation was about 120. I like the site picture at the range a lot better. Someone on here pointed out that on a dark night or after the first shot night sights will make no difference. I like mine anyway and would do it again.

Glock 23 and 43 with Truglo TFO sights but not made for CW series. Amazingly fast sight alignment. The Khar Trijicon front and CT380 rear will nevertheless be fine for my use.

What rear sight did you install?

It was the trijcon set from Kahr.

i was fortunate enough to order a CW380 NS through my dealer, 2 wks later it came in with a trijicon front, difference in price was $40.00 between the one with and without the F night sight.

oddly can't find them listed anywhere else, including on trijicon's site, or on kahr's site specifically for CW380.

hope to replace the rears in the future, maybe with the dawson precision ones.

I just received my CW380 with a Front Night Sight. My local shop saw it online from their distributor and order it for me. It was only an additional $20. I wasn't expecting much but was surprised to see it was a Trijicon. I also couldn't find anything online providing further information regarding this offering but glad I spent the extra $20.
