I love my P380 but it always bugged me that it is harder to disassemble and pull the extractor or clean the striker channel than say my Glocks or a 1911. There have been some great suggestions here over the years, but I recently found something that helps with the search effort that results when your extractor pin flies across the room. Working inside a plastic bag is awkward, so here's my new tool:

Can you spot it? No, it's not the third-hand coat hanger tool, you need that too. It's the tape. We have an extra bathroom in the basement near my workbench and I used the tape to cover the shower drain. Now when I disassemble or reassemble the P380 slide I go into the shower stall before I mess with the cover plate. When things go flying now they don't go far at all!
