I just put on a new laser guard on my cw380 and have to say i absolutely love this thing. Ive never had a laser before but now plan on adding lasers to all of my ccw guns.

Me too. So now you probably need a new pocket holster. I just got a great leather one from Trace Tarco for mine. I'm gonna take some pix and post about it tomorrow.

I actually orded a holster before the laser. I bought a recluse solo pocket holster, it fits the gun with and without the laser. Ive been carrying the holster for a couple weeks already and highly recomend it! It draws fast(for a pocket holster) and is comfortable

Which model did you use? Did you use model 433 which is for the P380?

I have two pistols with lasers, and I really like them. Well actually I sold the gun that one of the lasers goes too, and was hoping to put it on my CM45, that I had hoped would be available by now. Some of them do limit your holster selection quite a bit. That's why I like the ones that are mounted in the grip panels, like the ones for the 1911, they don't require a special holster.

After loving the lasers that I put on my wife's guns, I added a CT to my CW9. Nice "toy" but I removed it since it wasn't helping me and I'd prefer a tactical light. Additionally, I had a few holsters for the CW9 that I could no longer use with the laser. The CT now sits in a box, waiting for me to decide if and when I want to re-install it or sell/trade.

Im curious to know what kind of shooting youre referring to when you say it didnt help you?

Are you talking about controlled target practice?

For me, it helps immensely for faster follow up shots and fast target accusation.
Basically im saying its faster because i dont have to line up the sights and have a much bigger site picture.

I practice at 7 feet to 25 feet with my handguns but 90% is in the 7 feet to 15 feet range. I'm a habitual point-and-shoot and the laser was more of a hindrance to my speed. Given the time, it does seem to make a minor improvement to my accuracy but I'll take 2 hits 1/2 inch or so off target at 15 feet or less than a slow single shot that may give the BG that extra second to strike.

I haven't totally ruled out re-installing the CT; I'm just saying I removed it for the time being because I didn't feel it was giving me an advantage.

Where are you guys getting the laser at? The cheapest I can find it is $239. I only paid 300 for the CW380.
